MUAY THAI
FOR THE WHOLE FAMILY.
Technique first. Confidence for life.
Authentic, beginner-friendly Muay Thai in the Coachella Valley — structured classes for kids (5–9), youth (10–14), and adults (15+), led by Coach Adrian. Footwork, pads, conditioning, and confidence.
The Art of Eight Limbs
REAL MUAY THAI,
TAUGHT RIGHT.
Muay Thai is Thailand’s national striking art — punches, kicks, knees, and elbows built on footwork, timing, and rhythm. At Flow Academy Indio it’s taught the way it should be: technique first, conditioning that earns its place, and a room where beginners are welcomed, not tested.
Classes run about an hour — warm-up, technique of the day, padwork and partner drills, then a cool-down. New students work at their own pace from day one. It’s a great workout, and an even better skill.
Youth and adults train the same evenings, so many families make Monday and Wednesday their nights on the mats together.
Technique first
Every class starts with the craft — footwork, form, and clean strikes on the pads before anything else.
Confidence for life
Kids and adults leave standing a little taller. The calm you build here carries into school, work, and home.
A room that has your back
Beginners are welcomed, not tested. You train alongside a team that wants you back next class.
A Class, Station by Station
WHAT A CLASS
LOOKS LIKE.
Spin the wheel to walk through a session — or read it straight through below. Same class, whether you’re 7 or 47.
01 · Warm-Up & Movement
Footwork, shadowboxing, and mobility to get loose and switched on — the foundation every strike is built on.
02 · Technique of the Day
One or two techniques taught step by step, then broken down slowly so beginners and veterans both leave sharper.
03 · Pad & Bag Work
Clean reps on Thai pads and heavy bags — this is where power, timing, and rhythm actually get built.
04 · Partner Drills
Controlled, coach-supervised drilling with a partner. Technique before intensity, always.
05 · Conditioning & Cool-Down
Honest conditioning that earns its place, then a stretch and reset. You leave tired, not broken.

Parents & Youth
CONFIDENCE THEY
CARRY EVERYWHERE.
Our youth Muay Thai is padwork-first and coach-supervised. Kids learn footwork, striking fundamentals, and self-control on Thai pads and bags — grouped by age, coached at their own pace, in a room parents can watch from.
Ages 5–9 train at 5:00 PM and ages 10–14 at 6:00 PM on Mondays and Wednesdays. It builds focus, discipline, coordination, and the kind of quiet confidence that shows up at school — with the discipline to never need to use it outside the gym.
Safety-forward, always: technique comes before intensity, and sparring is not part of the beginner youth experience.

IN THE ROOM.
MUAY THAI QUESTIONS,
ANSWERED.
I've never thrown a punch. Can I start?
Yes. Most of our students started with zero striking experience. Classes are structured so beginners learn footwork and fundamentals first, at their own pace, with coaching every step.
Is Muay Thai safe for my kid?
Our youth classes are padwork-first and coach-supervised. Kids learn on Thai pads and bags, technique before intensity, and are grouped by age. Sparring is not part of the beginner youth experience.
Do I need gloves or gear for my first class?
No. Come in comfortable athletic clothes and we'll provide what you need to get started. If you keep training, we'll point you to the right gloves and shin guards.
Is there sparring?
Not for beginners. New students build technique on pads and bags first. Any live work later on is optional, controlled, and coach-supervised — safety is the foundation.
Can my kids and I train the same night?
Yes. Youth train first (ages 5-9 at 5:00 PM, ages 10-14 at 6:00 PM) and adults follow at 7:00 PM on Mondays and Wednesdays, so many families make those their training nights.
When can I come in?
Muay Thai runs Monday and Wednesday evenings. Your first class is free — book online or text us at (951) 337-3781 and we'll set you up.
